Along with the composition and recording of the last Fungoid Stream album this year, Simon O. was working in a new musical project.
This new Simon's side project is called EXTINCT STAR CLUSTER, and explores dark ambient music exclusively based on guitar and bass.
Today, the first album of this new project has been released in digital format. It's called "NOMADS OF THE STAR CLUSTER". It's an instrumental piece, consisting in 7 tracks of guitar dark ambient.
Despite not having lyrics, the track names and atmosphere is inspired in the interstellar journey topic, a topic explored many times in the classics of the science fiction literature.
